i am here…

In this recent work of intaglio etchings the focus has been on deconstructing familiarity from form by placing symbolic images; a spiral as the central idea, then adding a square of gold leaf, and finally stitching another symbolic image, like a star or a ladder, within each golden square.  My ambition is to bring forward ideas that promote the process of deep looking, the unexpected path, or meditation.
